Job description

We're looking for a Senior Social Insights Analyst to lead the analysis of organic, paid, and earned media performancefor our clients. You'll produce the reporting that tells clients how their content and campaigns are performing, help develop the benchmarks that put those numbers in context, and translate performance data into clear, actionable recommendations that shape strategy and decision-making.

Just as important, you'll go deep into the communities where our clients' audiences live โ€” examining behaviors, conversations, and creators to identify engagement opportunities that build brand reputation. This role sits at the intersection of analytics and storytelling: you're as comfortable pulling and cleaning platform data as you are presenting the "so what" to a client.

Senior Social Insights Analysts operate with a high degree of independence. They own measurement workstreams from start to finish, proactively identify opportunities and risks, and help elevate NOBODY's approach to social intelligence, performance measurement, and reporting across clients. They are trusted partners to Strategy and Activation teams and are increasingly looked to for guidance, mentorship, and perspective.

What You'll Do
  • Analyze organic social performance across platforms (X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit) to identify what's working, what isn't, and why.
  • Evaluate paid media performance โ€” ad spend efficiency, creative and messaging tests, audience targeting, and channel mix โ€” and connect it to organic and earned results for a full-funnel view.
  • Track earned media coverage, share of voice, sentiment, and narrative velocity to measure how client stories travel beyond owned channels.
  • Examine behaviors within online communities โ€” Reddit threads, comment sections, forums, and niche spaces โ€” to understand how audiences talk, what they care about, and where clients have an authentic opportunity to engage and build brand reputation.
  • Research and identify creators and influencers whose audiences, content, and credibility align with client goals, and support vetting and recommendation decks.
  • Build and deliver recurring client reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly) that pairs performance data with clear insight and recommended next steps.
  • Develop and maintain performance benchmarks โ€” by platform, content type, industry, and competitor set โ€” so every metric is reported against meaningful context.
  • Conduct competitive and category analyses to surface whitespace, emerging content trends, and shifts in audience behavior.
  • Partner with Strategy and Activation teams to translate findings into content, channel, and investment recommendations.
  • Lead measurement and intelligence workstreams across client engagements, owning projects from intake through final delivery.
  • Present findings directly to clients and stakeholders, confidently communicating insights, recommendations, risks, and opportunities.
  • Proactively identify emerging audience, platform, cultural, and competitive shifts that should shape client strategy.
  • Support new business efforts with audits, landscape analyses, measurement frameworks, and performance perspectives.
  • Continuously improve our measurement approach: dashboard templates, taxonomies, KPI frameworks, QA processes, and reporting methodologies.
  • Mentor and support junior analysts by sharing best practices, reviewing work, and helping elevate analytical rigor across the team.
  • Apply AI tools, skills, and frameworks to build efficiencies and automations into reporting and analysis workflows โ€” from data processing and classification to first-draft insight generation.
What You Bring
  • 4-6 years of experience in social/digital analytics, media measurement, marketing insights, or social intelligence; agency, consultancy, or in-house insights experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on fluency with native platform analytics (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio, X/LinkedIn Analytics) and paid platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, or equivalent).
  • Experience with social listening and media monitoring tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Sprout Social, Talkwalker, NewsWhip, Cision, Meltwater).
  • Strong command of core metrics across organic, paid, and earned media โ€” and the judgment to know which ones matter for a given objective.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI) preferred.
  • Strong analytical judgment and the ability to move from observation to implication to recommendation without heavy direction.
  • Clear, concise communication skills โ€” you can turn a data export into a narrative an executive can act on.
  • Experience presenting insights and recommendations directly to clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Detail orientation and comfort managing recurring deliverables across multiple clients and deadlines.
  • A bias for action โ€” you move quickly from question to analysis to recommendation, flag opportunities without waiting to be asked, and would rather ship a strong insight today than a perfect one next week.
  • The ability to operate independently and deliver client-ready work โ€” deliverables you hand off are polished, QA'd, and ready to go out the door.
  • Experience building benchmarks, measurement frameworks, or normative datasets across clients, industries, or categories.
  • Curiosity about platforms, culture, and why content performs โ€” you notice trends before they're in the trades.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, or platform-native AI features) to streamline analysis and reporting, and an appetite to keep building those skills.
  • Experience mentoring junior teammates, contributing to team development, or leading portions of client engagements is a plus.
What Success Looks Like
  • Clients trust your recommendations and seek out your perspective on performance, audience behavior, and platform trends.
  • Reporting consistently moves beyond metrics and helps shape strategic decisions.
  • Insights workstreams run with minimal oversight and are delivered with a high degree of accuracy and polish.
  • Measurement frameworks, benchmarks, and reporting approaches improve because of your contributions.
  • Strategy and Activation teams actively seek your input when developing recommendations.
  • Junior analysts produce stronger work through your guidance and support.
  • You identify opportunities and risks before clients ask about them.
