Job description

The Role We Need:

PadSplit is hiring a Performance Marketing Manager, Host Growth to lead and scale paid acquisition for Host Growth (the people who own the PadSplits). This role is critical to driving efficient, data-driven growth by owning both the strategy and execution of campaigns across multiple paid channels. You will be responsible for optimizing performance at scale, allocating budget effectively, and building a structured experimentation roadmap that continuously improves results. As a senior, strategically-minded individual contributor, you'll have a high degree of ownership over host acquisition performance-expanding our reach, lowering acquisition costs, and unlocking new growth opportunities that directly support our mission to help solve the affordable housing crisis.

The Person We Are Looking For:

We're looking for a strategic, highly analytical performance marketer who thrives in a results-driven environment and takes full ownership of outcomes. You bring a deep understanding of B2B acquisition tactics-whether from in-house experience or an agency background-and you're comfortable operating across a variety of spend levels, from lean tests to scaled budgets. You're someone who not only executes campaigns but also understands how to architect and optimize the broader growth engine. You enjoy digging into data, identifying trends, and translating insights into scalable strategies. You are proactive, organized, and comfortable managing complex, multi-channel campaigns while partnering cross-functionally.

Here's What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day:
  • Campaign Strategy & Management: Drive B2B strategy and execution of paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, and other channels across the Host growth funnel.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize campaigns to hit CPA, CAC, ROAS, and volume targets while balancing efficiency and scale.
  • Budget Allocation: Manage and allocate budgets across channels, campaigns, and audiences to maximize return and drive growth.
  • Lead Generation & Funnel Optimization: Design and refine lead generation strategies, leveraging tools like Meta CAPI to improve signal quality and conversion tracking across the host funnel.
  • Creative & Landing Page Testing: Partner with design and marketing teams to test and iterate on ad copy, creatives, landing pages, and offers, with a strong command of A/B testing methodology.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external platforms, partners, and internal stakeholders to launch, scale, and refine campaigns.
  • Funnel Analysis: Analyze full-funnel performance to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for conversion improvement.
  • Experimentation Leadership: Design and lead A/B testing strategies across targeting, creative, bidding, and channel mix to drive continuous improvement.
  • Reporting & Insights: Build dashboards, monitor performance trends, and deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful:
  • Performance Experience: 5-7+ years managing paid media campaigns with direct-response KPIs and a track record of scaling acquisition efficiently. Experience with B2B tactics, either in-house or at an agency, is strongly preferred, ideally across a range of spend levels.
  • Channel Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with paid search, and paid social platforms (Google, Meta, X etc.); experience with additional channels is a plus.
  • Lead Generation Expertise: Strong understanding of lead generation strategy, landing page optimization, A/B testing, and Meta CAPI implementation.
  • Analytical & Reporting Skills: Advanced reporting capabilities with required hands-on experience in Rockerbox and GA4. Proficiency with data and BI tools such as Tableau, Supermetrics, or Looker-able to structure and use data properly to drive strategic decisions.
  • Testing Mindset: Proven experience with rigorous testing and scaling structured experimentation programs.
  • Attention to Detail: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ownership Mentality: Self-starter who takes initiative, owns outcomes, and drives projects end-to-end.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to succinctly present insights, influence stakeholders, and collaborate cross-functionally.
The Interview Process:
  • Your application will be reviewed for possible next steps by a human being in the PeopleOps department.
  • If you meet eligibility requirements, the next step would be a video call with a member of the PeopleOps team for about thirty (30) minutes.
  • If warranted, the next step would be a video interview with our Director of Host Growth Marketing for forty-five (45) minutes.
  • If warranted, the final step would be a video panel interview with additional stakeholders for one-and-a-half (1.5) hours.  For this interview, a candidate would participate in a campaign exercise to the panel for discussion.
  • If warranted, then we move to contract!
$25,000 - $35,000 a year
Compensation is based on the role's scope, national market benchmarks, the person's expertise and experience, and the impact of their contributions to our business goals.
