Job description

Metal  Lab Technician (Manufacturing)

We are seeking a hands-on Metal Lab Technician to support our Finishing Department in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for titrating plating chemicals for nickel and copper,  laboratory testing, chemical analysis, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform chemical and physical testing for metal finishing processes
  • Maintain lab equipment, chemical inventory, and production bath records
  • Troubleshoot lab equipment and support production operations
  • Prepare chemical additions and bath make-ups
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Experience in titrating chemicals or electroplating preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, and data entry
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a factory environment
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus
