Position Overview

As a Massage Therapist, you will deliver personalized, high-quality treatments that support relaxation, recovery, and overall well-being. You will play an integral role in shaping the guest journey within Elim Spa Village—creating moments of calm, care, and connection.

This role is ideal for someone who is both technically skilled and intuitively attuned to client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Treatment Delivery

Perform a range of massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic techniques

Customize each session based on client needs, preferences, and wellness goals

Maintain a calm, professional presence that enhances the overall guest experience

Client Care & Experience

Conduct thorough consultations to assess client needs and areas of focus

Create a welcoming, safe, and relaxing environment for each guest

Educate clients on aftercare, self-care practices, and wellness recommendations

Build rapport and foster repeat guest relationships

Spa Environment & Standards

Prepare and reset treatment rooms to a high standard before and after each session

Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in accordance with health regulations

Ensure all linens, oils, and supplies are stocked and presented thoughtfully

Collaboration & Growth

Work collaboratively with the broader spa and hospitality team to ensure seamless service

Maintain accurate treatment notes and guest preferences

Stay current with evolving techniques, certifications, and wellness practices

Contribute to the development of new treatments and guest experiences over time

What We’re Looking For

Valid Virginia Massage Therapy license (required)

Proven experience in massage therapy; luxury spa or wellness setting preferred

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques

Ability to tailor treatments to a variety of client needs and conditions

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
