Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Site Lead

Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics, Organizational Change Management, Communications, Training, and Information Technology (IT) Support Services. We are currently seeking an on-site RFID Site Lead in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii to join our team of professionals in support of the U.S. Navy to completed on-site RFID installation at the naval shipyard.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  • Serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME)and site lead on RFID and Mesh System Installations.
  • Lead and manage the performance of RFID and Mesh installation teams.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to installation teams to ensure all hardware meets customer specifications and approved design standards.
  • Represent the company as the client's primarypoint ofcontact. Openly and confidently communicate with all other parties involved with the project.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance procedures, safety regulations, and contractual requirements.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings, providing technical and programmatic updates to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support material readiness, test planning, and installation verification processes.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to installation teams to ensure all hardware meets customer specifications andapproveddesignstandards.

  • Supportcreation/managementfordocumentationpackagespereachproposedsitetoincludeas-builts, diagrams, CAD drawings, installation instructions, spectrum analysis reports, etc.
  • Perform configurationuploads for both RFID Readers and Mesh Gateways.
  • Perform RFID/Mesh System testing to verify full functionality and integration of all system components, including connectivity and operational performance.
  • Performs related work as assigned.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but remains tentative until contract award.

Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations)

Education and Experience

  • Must haveBachelor’sdegree andminimumfive (5)years’ experience in one of the related fields: AIT, RFID, Mesh, or Low Voltage.
  • Additionalyears of experience may beexchanged for education; Associatesand minimum seven (7)years’ experience, ORHigh School Diplomaor equivalentand minimum nine (9) years’ experience
  • Must haveprior Site Lead/Foreman experience, including managing employees and tools/materials.
  • Must be proficient with power/hand tools.Required to have knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (NEC, NFPA 70e, OSHA) and ability to read blueprints and drawings. 
  • Must have the ability to effectivelyinteract/dealwith and supportthe customersand employees. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner. 
  • Industry related certifications/experiencehighlydesired.
  • Previousmilitary service experience is a HUGE PLUS.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to perform heavy/strenuous manual work and be exposed towork inconditions which may include temperatures below 32°F and above 90°F.
  • MustMaintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-pacedmilitaryenvironment.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employeemust be ableto talk and hearin an industrial environment where ambient noises reach up to approximately 80dB due to safety requirements. Those hard of hearing, or using aides for hearing, mustdemonstratetheir ability to clearly hear and communicate in this environment prior to consideration.
  • The employee must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas, including interior and exterior environments, tightspacesand areas of considerable height (30 feet above ground level)without being a potential trip hazard.Those who need walking aides or difficulty traversing will not be considered for this position due to safety requirements.
  • Must be able to stand forlong periods(8+ hours daily)andfrequentlywork on ladders and scaffolds.
  • Must be able to tolerate heights, to include working on lifts and ladders that can reach heights of 40-60 feet above ground, tops of light poles, or rooftops. Must be able to properly fit into required safety harnesses for tethering to rooftop anchor points or lift anchors.
  • Must be able to lift and carry tools, ladders, drawings, and equipment (up to 75 lbs. regularly), crouch, kneel, and work with tools and machinery.
  • Must be able to wearappropriate safetyequipment (e.g.a hard-hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toe shoes,safety-harness,etc.) as necessary.
  • Must be able to pass initial andsubsequentdrug screenings asrequiredforoperatingheavy machinery.

Clearance

  • Must be a United States Citizen.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation(minimumT-1/NACI)prior to employmentand beginning work.
  • Must be eligible for a T-3 (SecretDoDSecurityClearance)clearance.
