Monarch Investment and Management Group is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Mesa Ridge Apartments in Albuquerque. We are offering up to $19/hrs plus $750 quarterly bonuses, health insurance, tool reimbursement, 2 weeks paid time off and 9 paid holidays.
 
Monarch Investment & Management Group has been actively involved in commercial real estate investment since 1992. We currently manage over 79,000 apartment units in 25 states, making us the 10th largest multifamily owner in the country per NMHC (2025). In addition, Monarch's ownership also operates Monarch Ski Area near Salida, CO.

Essential Job Duties and/or oversight Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
  • Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
  • Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
  • Exterior structural maintenance as needed
  • Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone every 3 to 4 weeks
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
  • 1+years' experience in general maintenance
  • Dry walling experience including painting and carpentry
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, and plumbing
  • Some knowledge of Boilers and Forced Air
  • Have good verbal and written communication          
  • Problem solving skills
  • Be able to provide great customer service to our residents

A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
This role requires pre-employment screenings that include a criminal background check, and drug screening.
