Job description

Seeking an experienced AVEVA MES Consultant with strong expertise in AVEVA/Wonderware MES solutions, including Operations, Quality, and Performance modules. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MES implementation, development, integration, platform setup, and production support, along with knowledge of industrial automation and manufacturing standards.

Required Technical Skills
  • Hands-on experience with AVEVA MES core modules and CMES.
  • Experience with AVEVA MES Operations, Quality, and Performance modules.
  • Experience with AVEVA System Platform and AVEVA/Wonderware Historian.
  • Experience with AVEVA Work Tasks (Skelta BPM) and AVEVA MDM is a plus.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and supporting AVEVA/Wonderware MES solutions.
  • Experience completing at least one full lifecycle AVEVA MES implementation project.
  • Experience with MES environment setup, configuration, and platform readiness.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and view development.
  • Experience with C# and .NET development.
  • Experience with JavaScript, CSS, JSON, jQuery, HTML5, Web API, and REST APIs.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide functional and technical expertise across AVEVA MES Operations, Performance, and Quality modules.
  • Analyze business and manufacturing requirements and map them to appropriate AVEVA MES functionality.
  • Configure, develop, implement, and support AVEVA MES solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work with AVEVA System Platform, Historian, and Object Integration Server for MES and plant-floor integrations.
  • Support MES environment setup, configuration, deployment, and platform readiness.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
  • Develop and maintain custom applications and integrations using C#/.NET.
  • Develop web-based interfaces and integrations using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JSON, jQuery, Web API, and REST API.
  • Integrate MES solutions with PLCs, SCADA, OPC, automation systems, and other manufacturing technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve MES application, integration, database, and platform issues.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, automation, IT, and business teams to deliver effective MES solutions.
Manufacturing & Automation Knowledge
  • Knowledge of ISA-95, ISA-88, and MESA standards.
  • Understanding of manufacturing execution systems and industrial automation.
  • Knowledge of OPC, PLCs, SCADA, and plant-floor integration methods.
  • Industrial automation and networking experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and MES architecture is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AVEVA Work Tasks (Skelta BPM).
