Position Summary

Were looking for an experienced Finish Foreman to lead crews on final grading and sitework operations.

This role is about precision, production, and leadership. You will be responsible for making sure the job is on grade, on tolerance, and ready for the next phase whether thats stone, concrete, or paving.

You need to know how to run a crew, read grade, and get the job dialed in.


What Youll Be Doing

  • Lead crews performing fine grading and finish work on civil projects
  • Read and interpret plans, grades, stakes, and elevations
  • Work closely with survey/layout and ensure accurate grade control
  • Operate or direct operators on:
    • Dozers (finish work)
    • Excavators
    • Skid steers / compact equipment
  • Ensure subgrade is properly prepared and within tolerance
  • Coordinate daily work with superintendents and project managers
  • Maintain production while keeping tight quality standards
  • Identify grade issues early and fix them before they become problems
  • Keep the jobsite safe, organized, and moving


What Were Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Finish Foreman or Lead in earthwork/civil projects
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Fine grading
    • Subgrade prep
    • Elevation control / tolerances
    • Working from plans and stakes
  • Ability to read grade without relying on others
  • Experience coordinating crews and equipment
  • Strong leadership leads from the front, not just giving orders
  • Takes pride in clean, accurate finished product
  • Valid drivers license
