Job description

Mern Stack/Vue JS Role
Denver,CO (or any nearby client locations)

Job Description:

 Software developer with 10+ years of experience in full-stack application development, with strong expertise in Node.js and Vue.js, to support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of modern web-based applications. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across frontend and backend components and will have experience integrating applications with relational and NoSQL databases, along with supporting automated testing and quality assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js and Vue.js.

Build and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services to support application functionality and system integration.

Develop responsive, user-friendly frontend components and interfaces using Vue.js.

Work with relational and NoSQL data stores, including PostgressSQL  and MongoDB NoSQL(Optional).

Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests using Playwright and JUnit.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues.

Collaborate with technical teams, analysts, and stakeholders to define requirements and implement solutions.

Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards and best practices.

Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance activities across development and test environments.

Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and implementation planning.

Required Qualifications 

10+ years of professional software development experience.

Proven experience developing backend applications with Node.js.

Strong experience building frontend applications with Vue.js.

Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and web services.

Experience working with Postgress DB  and MongoDB (Optional).

Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, including Playwright and JUnit.

Strong knowledge of JavaScript, asynchronous programming, and modern web development practices.

Experience with source control systems such as Git.

Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver solutions in a collaborative environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Java and NoSQL development (optional).

Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

Familiarity with containerization and cloud-hosted application environments.

Experience with authentication, security best practices, and enterprise application integrations.
