A DAY IN THE LIFE...

We are seeking for a talented Sous Chef who will assist the Executive Chef run the day-to-day culinary operation of the Hotel. Responsible for all aspects of managing the Kitchen and Kitchen personnel, payroll, team member's training, quality preparation of all menu items and proper handling/ storage of all food items in accordance with standards. Coordinates the purchase of all food maintaining approved food costs and labor costs for both the restaurant and banquets experience in a four star hotel property or above.


YOU OWN THIS IF YOU HAVE...

  • Minimum 3+ years previous experience in multiple Culinary/Food & Beverage department head positions
  • College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Good command of spoken and written English/Spanish a plus
  • Strong leadership, planning and communication skills
  • Must have valid food safety certification exam, such as ServSafe
