SUMMARY 

This position works within the Loan Operations Department providing support to the Bank’s loan originators and commercial administrators in document preparation, loan workflow monitoring, and life of loan process management in a variety of loan products including consumer loans, real estate loans, and commercial loans. Providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers is key to success in this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports Commercial Loan Administrators with core system maintenance, commercial loan document preparation, loan booking, and funding activities. 
  • Provides loan operations support on a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, working with participation loans, GAP remittance and bankruptcy tasks.
  • Monitors collateral insurance, loan exceptions, and property taxes on current loan files.
  • Prepare paid loans including satisfaction and lien releases.
  • Provides customer service to support internal and external customer inquiries on payments, loan maintenance, and collateral monitoring.
  • Creates non-real estate loan documents from application to loan closing and funding along with providing support to the Mortgage Loan Processor. 
  • Maintaining & updating departmental procedures, coordinating team projects and supporting process improvement initiatives.
  • Establish, maintain, and update escrow accounts including performing escrow analysis and ensuring compliance with both regulatory and company requirements.
  • Facilitates all post-closing file maintenance.
  • Processes loan payments made for all customers via online banking.
  • Scans loan documents into document imaging system and/or performs quality control on scanned documents.
  • Regular, reliable attendance is required. 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • 2+ years of job-related experience required. 
  • Experience with loan origination platforms is preferred, particularly Jack Henry-SilverLake, Abrigo, TruStage, MeridianLink Consumer & MeridianLink Mortgage.
  • SBA experience preferred but not required.
  • Two year or four-year degrees preferred.

Starting Hourly Range$22.50-$26.00 per hour
