You are the dynamic, professional Call Center Representative we are looking for. In a PRN or 'as needed' capacity, you will assist with the day to day operations in the Muncie call center of Meridian Health Services facilities.

This position will work PRN or as needed during hours of operation of Monday- Friday 8a-5p.

Call Center Representative Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication (verbal and written) and consultation with staff, patients, and the general public. Maintaining a professional, customer-focused environment using exceptional customer service skills.
  • Answering incoming telephone calls, accurately scheduling/rescheduling/canceling appointments for primary care and behavioral providers.
  • Taking messages and/or routing call to appropriate extensions based on the caller’s needs.
  • Proper use of computer systems to retrieve necessary information to assist the caller.
  • Work in a team environment to provide support amongst everyone.

We are seeking Call Center Representative candidates with the following qualities:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to type and/or use computer in order to complete data entry and telephone duties. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written). Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality also required.
  • One year secretarial/office experience, health care call center or previous experience in a medical setting, and bilingual preferred.
