Mercy is adding a breast surgeon to our team of exceptional surgeons at the Hoffberger Breast Center at Mercy. Our Center in Baltimore is a renowned, nationally accredited breast center with award-winning programs and doctors. The Breast Center's comprehensive care is thoughtfully designed for women undergoing the journey to overcome breast disease.
Mercy's Breast Center brings together the diagnosis, treatment and recovery process in a convenient and uncomplicated fashion - providing all stages of care in one dedicated location so you can focus your attention on your health and healing. Skilled doctors across Mercy Medical Center collaborate to ensure our patients receive top rated care and treatment through a multidisciplinary approach.
With a dedicated Women's Imaging Center, robust team of surgeons, and team devoted to reconstruction, the Hoffberger Breast Center is a true Mercy Center of Excellence.
Responsibilities
  • A regionally acclaimed center, with a comprehensive approach to Women's Health, it provides physicians with all the tools needed for the diagnosis and treatment of all breast conditions.
  • National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) accredited since 2009.
  • Robust mid-level support with multiple Nurse Practitioners in the clinic, and a dedicated PA/NP's in the operating room to support optimal patient outcomes.
  • Cancer support services including nurse navigation, patient education and counseling, and social work support.
  • High risk assessment: focus on early identification of patients at increased risk allows for a proactive approach to patient care.
  • Lymphedema prevention program with Restorative Therapists
  • Weekly tumor board provides customized, coordinated care for patients.
