Career Ladder Opportunities:

Radiologic Technologist:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
  • Experience: no experience required.
  • Certification: Obtained ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
  • Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. 

Advanced Radiologic Technologist:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
  • Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor's degree program.
  • Certification: ARRT (R); Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. 
  • Current Radiologic Technologists who are moving to Advanced Radiologic Technologist title on the career ladder must complete all required Radiologic Technologist competencies.

Senior Radiologic Technologist:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
  • Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor's degree program.
  • Certification: ARRT (R); Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. 
  • Current Advanced Radiologic Technologists who are moving to Senior Radiologic Technologist title on the career ladder must complete all required Radiologic AND Advanced Radiologic Technologist competencies
