Safeguarding the dignity and justice of all who are entrusted with our care. By providing fire, safety, emergency management, and security protection for Mercys coworkers, patients, and visitors. Performing all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.Position Details:

Minimum Required Qualifications
Education:
Associate's degree or higher in related Public Safety Major, or Related Work
Licensure:
Valid State drivers license
Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security or Law Enforcement licensure as required
Experience:
5 years managerial experience in Public Safety, Law Enforcement or related field
Other Skills and Knowledge:
Strong organizational, personnel, communication and computer skills desired. Progressive experience with security, safety, access control, surveillance technology, hazardous materials and emergency management.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree or higher in related public safety field of study
Licensure:
State or Federal license in related field
Experience:
5 years executive management in related field
Other Skills and Knowledge:
Direct experience in Healthcare public safety with knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS requirements regarding patient safety.
