40 Hours: Hours/days worked will be determined upon hire
Summary: Personnel will be responsible for ensuring compliance with aspects of Trinity Church and Trinity Christian School safety/risk management policies, practices, and procedures. This includes the day-to-day operations of actively patrolling church and school grounds and
providing the safest possible environment for students, family, and staff on Trinity Church and Trinity Christian School property. Training and appropriate certifications will be provided.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Security/Safety - Security Officer
  • Patrolling Trinity properties as assigned.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies and other concerns during all hours and all days of the week as assigned.
  • Monitor surveillance system.
  • Document and report all incidents to the Security Coordinator on criminal or civil aspects on church/school grounds.
  • Coordinate Law Enforcement-related incidents on church/school grounds as requested by supervisor.
  • Coordinate security for activities, and events as assigned.
  • Conduct regular security audits and provide written findings and recommendations to Security Coordinator.
  • Participate in the development of security programs to assist in the protection of Church/School assets.
  • Facility risk awareness: parking lot, background checks, employees, visitors, volunteers, etc.
  • Identify and assess potential risks: from facility to human behavior
  • Attend regular staff meetings and additional meetings when requested.
  • Work in close association with the entire staff to build and maintain a strong team environment among our staff and complete the work necessary to fully serve and support the ministries and events of Trinity Church and Trinity Christian School.
  • Play a vital role in carrying out the Mission and Values Statement of Trinity Church and Grow in personal discipleship through: Bible study, Life groups, prayer, giving of tithe and Offerings, nurturing the character and exercise of Trinity’s faith community.
  • Cooperate with Life Safety Tam Director and Senior Leadership to perform any other duties as assigned.
  • Must be a member/become a member in good standing of Trinity Church.
QUALIFICATIONS
School and 2 years Security Operations experience is preferred; Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills; Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience preferred. Level III or IV certified and/or TCOLE. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including problem solving; Proficient with Microsoft Office and moderate computer skills; Able to work independently within a defined strategy; Able to work and communicate with many stakeholders. Ability to respond effectively to stressful and demanding situations: able to handle multiple types of personalities and tough situations with compassion, mercy and without judgment.
