Mission: We serve together in the spirit of the Gospel as a compassionate and transforming healing presence within our communities.
Phlebotomist/Registration: Working in a single assigned work area, provides specimen collection, registration and processing services to patients in the main hospital, outpatient lab draw stations, and mental health and skilled nursing facilities at off-site locations and clinics. High volume work, 50% of duties involve computer utilization with targets to meet. Provides clerical support to the Pathology Department and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma.Valid Michigan driver's license.

  • ASCP certification for Phlebotomy (must obtain certification within one year of hire) preferred.

  • Six months Phlebotomy experience required,including experience from school.

  • Must be able to type 40 words per minute.
