Trinity Health Livonia is a beautiful full-service, 304-bed acute care hospital, located in Livonia, MI, that provides comprehensive care, including a 24-hour emergency department, general medicine, inpatient and outpatient surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, intensive care unit, cancer, cardiology, geriatrics and birthing and women's health. About the Department

Heart Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab:

Our state-of-the-art Heart Catheterization (Cath) and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab is dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiovascular care. We operate two advanced labs, including EP labs, Vascular and Coronary procedures.

Case Volume:

  • Catheterization (Cath) Cases: We handle around 5-10 Cath cases each day, focusing on diagnostic and interventional procedures such as coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), stent placement, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), fractional flow reserve (FFR) measurements, and treatment of STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction).

Our team of highly skilled cardiologists, electrophysiologists, nurses, and technologists work collaboratively to deliver exceptional care, utilizing the latest technology and techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.

SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. The responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to the other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.

REQUIREMENTS: Associate's degree in nursing required. BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years. Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required. BLS required. Previous Cath Lab and/or ICU experience preferred. Must be computer proficient and have excellent customer service skills.
