Job description

Childrens Mercy (CM) Kansas City in partnership with Mercy Health Springfield is seeking a fellowship-trained BC/BE Pediatric Critical Care Specialists to serve our pediatric population at our multispecialty practice in Springfield, Missouri.

The Division of Critical Care at Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics is seeking a full-time intensivist to join its Division. The Division is excited to announce its new collaboration in the provision of critical care services at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. The 12-bed PICU provides core critical care capabilities to support children experiencing critical illness local to the Springfield area and its associated referral base.  A full array of pediatric medical and surgical consultative support are available to the Mercy Hospital PICU team either through local clinicians or through remote support from Childrens Mercys Adele Hall campus in Kansas City. Additionally, as members of the Division of Critical Care, faculty will have access to all of the educational and academic opportunities offered by the Division.

Childrens Mercy Kansas City is an independent, non-profit, 390-bed pediatric health system, providing over half a million patient encounters each year for children from across the country. Childrens Mercy is ranked by U.S. News & World Report in nine specialties. We have received Magnet recognition five times for excellence in nursing services. In affiliation with the University of Missouri-Kansas City and the University of Kansas, our faculty of nearly 800 pediatric specialists and researchers are actively involved in clinical care, pediatric research and educating the next generation of pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists.
