Merchant services refer to a broad range of financial services designed to help businesses accept and process payments, typically from credit and debit cards. These services often include payment processing, point-of-sale (POS) systems, online payment gateways, and fraud protection tools. Merchant services providers act as intermediaries between businesses, customers, and banks to ensure secure and efficient transactions. By using merchant services, businesses can expand their payment options, streamline operations, and improve the customer experience.
