The TikTok Shop US Operations team is committed to delivering high-quality products together with a unique customer experience through TikTok. As part of the Luxury Resale category, you will support the growth of an exciting and fast-evolving business, helping merchants succeed through category strategy, livestream strategy, merchant operations, and data-driven execution. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
• Conduct comprehensive research on the global and local luxury resale market trends.
• Monitor and analyze competitor movements on TikTok Shop and other major social commerce platforms.
• Perform deep-dive operational analysis of top-tier merchants (Head Sellers) to identify best practices in product assortment, pricing, and content strategy. 2. Merchant Operations & Strategic Planning
• Assist Operations Managers in developing data-backed growth plans for key luxury merchants.
• Support the end-to-end execution of Mega Live events, ensuring seamless coordination between merchants, creators, and platform resources.
• Track performance metrics post-campaign to evaluate ROI and provide recommendations for future scaling. 3. Data Synthesis & Reporting
• Consolidate complex datasets into structured reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Identify emerging "hot items" and consumer behavior shifts within the luxury segment to guide category optimization.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Fashion Management, or a related field. - Proven skills in Excel/Google Sheets; ability to derive "the story" behind the numbers. - Strong interest in e-commerce, and creator economy. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; comfortable working with cross-functional teams. - Proven skills of learning ability, execution ability and stress resistance, as well as strong communication and coordination, resource integration ability and project management ability. Preferred Qualifications: - Internship or full-time experience in an e-commerce business, having a solid understanding of the industry landscape. - Interest in luxury resale, fashion, handbags, watches, jewelry, collectibles, or related categories is preferred. - Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and experience in business analysis or operational reporting is preferred. [For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $25- $25.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
