Job description

At Favor, we are passionate about building a delivery experience that Texans love. As the Merchandising Manager, you will shape how our customers discover their favorite merchants and products in the app. You will develop and execute data-driven merchandising strategies that elevate our content structure and drive category performance. In this highly cross-functional role, you'll collaborate closely with our Marketing and Finance teams on planning and budgeting, while partnering with Business Analytics to continuously test, iterate, and optimize the discovery experience.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead the execution of in-app merchandising directive; ensure key brand and product messages are delivered through compelling, on-brand shopping experiences that align with broader marketing channels (lifecycle, social, and paid media).
  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies tailored to distinct customer segments with a focus on navigation, content structure, and feature placement that drive discovery and engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with integrated marketing, creative, brand, business analytics, product, support, and sales teams to align on merchandising initiatives and influence decisions through a data-driven, collaborative approach.
  • Analyze business performance to identify trends, surface insights, and guide merchandising and pricing optimizations that drive growth and improve user experience.
  • Define and track core merchandising and content KPIs to evaluate strategy effectiveness, inform future decisions, and ensure consistent reporting
  • Lead A/B testing strategies to experiment with and refine content, placement, and user journeys; drive continuous performance improvement across the app experience.

Skills you have:
  • A relevant degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience.
  • 5+ years experience in website or app merchandising or similar roles within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience identifying opportunities to find efficiencies throughout the customer journey that impact the user experience and growth.

  • Strong analytical acumen with cross-functional leadership ability; ability to develop respectful influencing strategies to leverage support from cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to focus on and improve customer experience and business performance through in-app placement, segmentation, experimentation, and continuous optimization; ability to demonstrate a high degree of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and ensure all directives and communications are accurate, clear, concise, and consistent with Favor core values.
  • Process and detail-oriented mindset with demonstrated ability to maintain a clear history of changes and documentation.
  • Strong understanding of CMS and how they work; knowledge of Braze, Tableau,Contentful or similar tools.
