Overview:
The Wholesale Visual Merchandising Manager is responsible for ensuring business initiatives and visual strategies are supported in all wholesale accounts. Wholesale Visual Merchandising should tie back to key buys and the experience in each account should represent current company initiatives and brand creative and standards.
You Will:
  • Supports Visual and Wholesale teams on the execution of the overall visual merchandising strategy in all wholesale accounts
  • Attends sample turnover and big ideas meetings with Visual and Merchandising teams to learn the assortments and important buys
  • Supports monthly compass direction, working in close partnership with Visual and product Merchandising to bring big ideas and seasonal initiatives to life in wholesale through product placement, mannequin looks, and styling direction
  • Responsible for sharing and communicating the compass document and all brand visual tools with top wholesale accounts
  • Leverages existing brand visual tools or develops new tools as needed to tailor direction to different types of wholesale accounts to assure execution
  • Organizes workshops and in person/virtual training sessions to teach visual merchandising and creative techniques to internal wholesale team, wholesale specialists and top accounts ("train the trainer").
  • Creates and communicates in-season visual merchandising changes to internal wholesale team and accounts. This may include: sale direction, creative updates, or responding to feedback from store visits or Senior Leadership team.
  • Travels to top wholesale accounts to lead and work alongside the teams on seasonal compass sets, specialty installs, remodels, etc. Top accounts will change based on seasonality, needs or the business and brand focus of each month.
  • Assists Design, Merchandising, Brand Concept and Visual teams with merchandising and creative in the quarterly line adoption sets and brand concept sets
  • Responsible for taking seasonal concept from line adoption and adapting the idea to tradeshow sets and top wholesale account's seasonal sets
  • Partners with Creative Services and Marketing teams on monthly, seasonal and special events creative and artwork. Work with Visual Director and Visual Concept Manager to assure creative is consistent with brand vision
  • Orders window and marketing collateral for partner stores and specialty accounts as directed by internal wholesale team. Partners with Visual Operations Coordinator as needed.
  • Manages tradeshow process from start to finish including budget, ordering, set up and breakdown on site, people, support and schedule. Effectively move props rom one show to the next
  • Assists with office and special event set ups as needed - this could include company meetings, vendor meetings, corporate events, licensing events (Kentucky Derby, golf tournaments, etc.).
  • Leads Wholesale new store openings (shop in shops, airport stores, partner stores) and attends Retail and Outlet new store openings as needed to support current visual merchandising and creative strategies

What you bring:
  • Minimum 3 years experience as Visual Merchandiser or related experience
  • Demonstrated visual design skills with a strong retail merchandising portfolio
  • Solid experience in field visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays and space utilization
  • Ability to install creative (patch & paint, hanging, displays, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite - InDesign, Photoshop. Illustrator and other visual design tools a plus.
  • Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Creative and innovative thinker
  • Ability to analyze sales merchandising reports and survey results
  • Strong listening, written and oral communication skills required
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
  • Flexible travel schedule
  • Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Ability to innovate and challenge current norms to drive positive change and efficacy
  • Experience in customer and trend direction to inform both assortment strategy, and decision making
