Purpose of Role

The Sr. Planner - eCommerce Inventory Management is responsible for supporting the Direct-to-Consumer eCommerce business by managing in-season inventory productivity, maintaining healthy in-stock positions, and identifying opportunities to maximize sales, margin, and customer experience. This role partners closely with DTC Planning, Merchandising, Digital Operations, and Allocation and Sizing teams to monitor inventory trends, execute inventory actions, and support sizing strategies to ensure product availability across the eCommerce channel. This position will also provide interim support to the broader Allocation team by assisting with inventory management processes, reporting, and business analysis as needed.

Your Impact

   Manage in-season inventory performance across the eCommerce channel, identifying risks and opportunities to maximize sales and margin.
   Monitor inventory health, in-stock rates, and weeks of supply to support business objectives.
   Analyze sales, inventory, and demand trends to recommend actionable inventory strategies.
   Support inventory flow decisions including replenishment, inventory balancing, and product lifecycle management.
   Partner with Planning, Merchandising, and Digital Operations teams to align inventory strategies with commercial priorities.
   Identify sizing opportunities through analysis of size selling, inventory position, and customer demand patterns.
   Support size management initiatives by evaluating size curve performance and recommending inventory actions.
   Develop and maintain reporting to provide visibility into inventory productivity and business performance.
   Communicate inventory risks, opportunities, and recommendations to cross-functional partners.
   Assist with launch readiness, product transitions, and key commercial events by ensuring inventory alignment.
   Investigate and resolve inventory-related issues impacting product availability and customer experience.
   Support process improvement initiatives that enhance inventory management, replenishment, and reporting capabilities.
   Build collaborative relationships with Planning, Merchandising, Operations, and Allocation partners.
   Provide interim support to the Allocation team through analysis, reporting, and execution of allocation-related activities as business needs require.

Qualifications

   3+ years of experience in Allocation, Planning, Inventory Management, Merchandise Planning, or a related retail function.
   Experience supporting eCommerce, digital commerce, or omnichannel retail businesses preferred.
   Understanding of inventory management principles and inventory productivity metrics including WOS, sell-through, in-stock rates, and inventory turn.
   Experience analyzing business performance and translating data into actionable recommendations.
   Ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities through sales, inventory, and demand analysis.
   Strong Excel and data analysis skills with experience creating reports and business insights.
   Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Planning, Merchandising, Operations, and Allocation.
   Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
   Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to business partners.
   Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and continuous improvement focus.

Workplace Location
  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.
  • Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week.

Base Compensation

 $75,000.00-$100,000.00 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
