Job description

Ebels General Store in Evart is seeking a full-time dedicated and reliable Merchandising Associate to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure that shelves and displays are organized, products are rotated and replenished, and the sales floor is clean and inviting for customers. Team members in this position also assist with receiving shipments, maintaining the backroom, and supporting other departments as needed. This role requires the ability to operate powered industrial trucks to receive and transport materials, lift up to 50 pounds, stand and move for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment while upholding Ebels' high standards for appearance, professionalism, and customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Stock shelves and displays, ensuring products are properly rotated, faced, and replenished throughout the day.
  • Operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently to move materials and products throughout the facility
  • Greet customers warmly and provide helpful, friendly service.
  • Assist with receiving, checking, and preparing products for sale.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the stockroom and sales floor.
  • Break down cardboard boxes and place them in the compactor.
  • Read and verify product labels to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist teammates and perform other duties as assigned.
