General Beverage Sales Co. (GB) is a business-to-business wholesale distributor of wine, distilled spirits, beer, soda, bottled water and non-alcoholic beverages. Established in 1933, GB has been family-owned ever since. We currently operate in all of Wisconsin's 72 counties as consultants to over 11,000 licensed retail business customers helping them to profitably select, promote, merchandise, and sell consumer products in the beverage category. We proudly employ 900 employees across the State of Wisconsin. Our mission is to be the trusted distributor partner of our suppliers and customers in order to advance our collective beverage business and support the growth of our family of employees.
This role supports the Madison market. To ensure effective coverage and client engagement, residency within 35 miles of central Madison is preferred.
This position requires supporting the sales team in efforts to increase overall sales and company growth. This is accomplished by stocking shelves, building displays, and rotating products.
• Service accounts that are assigned on given week's schedule.
• Stock, fill, and merchandise all coolers, shelves, and displays at assigned accounts.
• Build, merchandise, and sign displays ensuring that POS is used in the proper manner.
• Properly utilize POS within accounts ensuring that it is in a highly visible location.
• Ensure that proper product rotation is in effect in every account that is serviced.
• Assist with account resets as assigned by the manager.
• Deliver products upon request of management.
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.
