Job Summary:
You will be part of the team that supports all domestic and export trading and marketing activities. The successful candidate is a team focused and detail-oriented person with advanced organizational skills who enjoys making sure transactions are processed properly, as well as figuring out the best way to record non-standard transactions given the tools and processes available. Trading volume can fluctuate quickly, so the team works together to balance the workload. You will have the opportunity to learn a wide variety of tasks so that you can quickly join the team in managing the spikes in volume.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Execute all activity with assigned ethanol plant
  • Process invoices to customers and purchase product from plant
  • Pay the plant for product purchased and related freight bills
  • Enter contracts and/or contract management
  • Issue load numbers to facilitate load out at the plant
  • Prepare and distribute daily and monthly reports
  • Process invoices from suppliers for the product purchased into inventory or direct shipped to a customer (trucks and containers)
  • Maintain ticket application, which includes contract execution and maintenance
  • Process freight bills, transload fees, ocean freight and other costs
  • Process A/P for payment via ACH/Wire/Check
  • Efficient utilization and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets is a MUST.
  • Customer Service - Communicate with domestic and/or overseas customers/partners
  • Ensure both internal and external compliance requirements are followed
  • Keep accurate and organized files in a common shared drive or shared email boxes
  • Drive a culture of safety, accountability, opportunistic curiosity and contributes to creating an environment where people want to work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Degree in Agriculture, Business, Accounting, or related field, preferred, but not required
  • Agricultural and/or logistics experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience with AGRIS is a plus.
  • Strong customer service commitment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

Physical Demands:
  • Frequent sitting, use of computer, communication via telephone
  • Ability to navigate an office environment.
  • Regular and predictable attendance in office or site location.
  • Job may require occasional travel within the United States.
