Job Overview:

Members of the Merchandising Team are to perform all prescribed duties to obtain maximum sales volume for assigned accounts. The Merchandiser will provide merchandising assistance to the customer to obtain maximum product distribution.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Build strong relationships with store management
  • Responsible for maintenance and updating of shelf labels in assigned accounts
  • Stocking shelves to ensure optimal movement and manage backstock
  • Assisting with merchandising needs at new store openings, store resets, new account labeling, and existing account re-labeling
  • Ensure execution of the sales business plan
  • Work with team on installation of shelving
  • Responsible for tag/pricing compliance
  • Ensure planogram compliance on shelf
  • Perform routine maintenance on food and beverage dispensers
  • Attend scheduled team meetings and maintain proper documentation on each assigned account in order to communicate store needs to the Merchandising Manager
  • Must be highly knowledgeable and efficient with company ordering device
  • Assist and sometimes train customer on placing orders that maintain stock levels to maximize sales
  • Must be familiar with all sales routes in assigned territory in order to cover for Sales Rep. if needed
  • Perform other relative duties as needed at the request of Management
  • Overnight Travel will be required

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates are highly motivated, self-starters that possess the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Must have strong interpersonal skills. Clean driving record is required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
