ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Supports the daily operations of the Merchandising Team. Responds to both internal and external inquiries.
  • Assists the Merchandising team with the preparation and proofing of necessary data, style lists, or reports for assigned tasks. Analyzes reporting for insights.
  • Assists in the curation of product for marketing purposes. Evaluates vendor products and selects those best suited to the campaign.
  • Enters, updates, manages and tracks Purchase Orders for Core Buys. Makes recommendations on re-orders and helps analyze performance.
  • Reviews competitor promotions and pricing, makes suggestions on pricing, promotions, and assortment.
  • Recommends changes in processes to improve service, quality, and/or reduce costs.
  • Follows prescribed legal guidelines and requirements.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Proven ability to collaborate with others to understand and complete project goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills and be able to professionally interact with suppliers and employees at all levels of the company.
  • Excellent time management and decision-making skills and be able to prioritize and organize tasks and projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines, work independently, and be proactive.
  • Must be able to pay attention to detail and work effectively and collaboratively across various departments to meet goals and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of Office experience, preferably in an e-Commerce setting
  • Degree in Merchandising, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods at a time.
