Want hands-on experience working with the Auburn brand? Join the Office of Trademark Management & Licensing and help shape how Auburn shows up in retail, on campus and beyond.
Our office promotes and protects Auburn University's name, logos and brand by working with licensees, retailers and campus partners. We're seeking motivated, creative and detail-oriented students who want real-world experience in marketing, branding, retail, analytics and content creation.
This is more than an office job-you'll gain practical skills, build your portfolio and contribute directly to Auburn's brand presence.

Role Flexibility

Responsibilities
• Communicate and build relationships with Auburn licensees and retail partners
• Organize and manage product samples from new and existing vendors
• Assist with planning and executing special events and brand initiatives
• Visit and engage with local retailers to support merchandising and product placement. Visits will not require driving.
• Support and contribute to social media strategy, including content ideation and creation
• Develop marketing content highlighting licensed products, vendors, and campus events
• Analyze internal data to generate insights and recommendations
• Research industry trends to identify new marketing opportunities
• Contribute ideas and take initiative on projects that enhance the Auburn brand
• Build brand portfolios through research and storytelling
• Other duties as assigned in support of Auburn's licensing program
Qualifications
Enrolled undergraduate student at Auburn University
Preferred Qualifications:
• Interest or coursework in Marketing, Communications, Business, Fashion Merchandising or Analytics
• Interest in careers related to: Digital marketing/content creation, Athletics, retail merchandising or brand licensing, Business analytics, operations or administration
• Familiarity with or interest in social media platforms and current trends
• Creative skills such as photography, video editing or graphic design
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Self-starter with a willingness to learn, contribute ideas and think creatively
