Join a traveling Physical Therapist position in Humble, TX (Outpatient) where you will evaluate and treat patients recovering from injury and managing chronic conditions. You will develop and implement treatment plans, provide discipline-specific direction, complete timely documentation, and participate in student education and professional development. You will follow professional codes of conduct and organizational safety practices while supporting quality improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Texas physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy required. Experience evaluating and developing treatment plans, documentation of goals and letters of medical necessity, and charge entry preferred.
- Current competence with electronic medical record documentation and adherence to state and federal regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to supervise students and delegate discipline-specific therapy services as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel or contract experience in outpatient settings preferred.
- Experience with performance improvement initiatives and patient safety programs preferred.
