Job description

Description of the role:

The Service Technician Mercedes-Benz plays a crucial role in our team at Rick Hill Imports in Kingsport, Tennessee. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing cars and diagnosing issues to ensure their optimal performance and reliability.

Pay is subject to change based on experience level. 

Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine maintenance on vehicles, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues with Mercedes-Benz cars
  • Repairing or replacing faulty parts as needed
  • Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and test drives
  • Updating service records and maintaining documentation
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Service Technician or relevant automotive experience
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Mercedes-Benz vehicles and their systems is a plus
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • ASE certifications are a plus
