  • Deliver sustainable growth in POS, contribution margin, and retailer gross margin.
  • Set annual and quarterly revenue, margin, and investment targets across platforms.
  • Balance growth ambitions with long-term channel strategy protection.

Platform Strategy & Joint Business Planning

  • Lead Amazon Brazil and Mercado Libre LATAM strategies, aligned to COE principles and local market dynamics.
  • Own development and execution of Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with both platforms.
  • Lead senior-level negotiations across promotions, media, visibility, fulfillment programs, and commercial terms.
  • Build and maintain executive relationships with Amazon and Mercado Libre leadership teams.

Operating Model & Execution Excellence

  • Deploy the COE maturity model and High Impact Initiatives across LATAM Expansion markets.
  • Establish disciplined operating rhythms (WBRs, MBRs, QBRs) with clear KPI ownership.
  • Drive excellence across pricing, promotions, content, media, conversion, inventory, and fulfillment.
  • Ensure retail readiness for key tentpoles and peak moments.

People & Pod Leadership

  • Lead and develop the LATAM Pure Player performance pod, including Amazon and Mercado Libre account leads.
  • Foster a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, speed, and continuous improvement.
  • Coach teams to operate as owners, not order-takers.

Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to align Pure Player strategies with broader LATAM and Americas priorities.
  • Coordinate with LATAM and Global COE leaders to scale best practices and drive capability building.
  • Lead cross-platform and cross-market initiatives as needed.

Insights, Governance & Executive Communication

  • Serve as the executive voice for Pure Players in LATAM Expansion markets.
  • Provide clear, data-driven updates on performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
  • Ensure strong forecasting, inventory planning, and risk mitigation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Commerce, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 8+ years of experience in digital commerce, sales, or marketing, including at least 4+ years managing Amazon + Mercado Libre business directly (ideally in LATAM).
  • Deep understanding of Amazon + Mercado Libre's retail platform, algorithms, and commercial levers, including advertising, content, pricing, promotions, and operational metrics.
  • Experience managing high-level retail negotiations and JBPs.
  • Proven leadership in developing digital commerce strategies in FMCG or Consumer Electronics / Durable Goods industries.
  • Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish and English
  • Strong analytical mindset, with hands-on experience using retail analytics, sell-out tools, and eCommerce KPIs.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and commercial orientation.
  • Customer- and consumer-obsessed with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Highly collaborative, able to influence cross-functional teams and lead through others.
  • Skilled in digital merchandising, performance marketing, and retail media.
  • Analytical and data-driven with strong executional discipline.
