Job description

SharkNinja is seeking a VP, Ecommerce - LATAM Pure Players to lead and scale our marketplace business across Latin America, with primary focus on Mexico and Brazil. This leader will own the full regional P&L and drive profitable growth across both 1P (Vendor) and 3P marketplace models.

The ideal candidate brings deep, hands-on experience managing both Amazon, Mercado Libre, with proven success operating in Mexico and ideally Brazil (both strongly preferred). This leader will combine strong marketplace fundamentals with business development expertise, including launching and scaling US-based brands into LATAM.

This role requires strong executive presence, with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders internally and externally, lead high-stakes joint business planning, and represent SharkNinja as a strategic partner to Amazon and Mercado Libre leadership.

Key Responsibilities

LATAM Marketplace Leadership & P&L Ownership

  • Own and drive the full LATAM P&L across Amazon and Mercado Libre, delivering revenue growth, margin expansion, and market share gains.
  • Lead strategic joint business planning (JBP) with senior marketplace leadership, influencing long-term growth strategies and investment priorities.
  • Define and execute the LATAM marketplace strategy across 1P and 3P models, optimizing channel mix, profitability, and scalability.
  • Lead regional business development initiatives, successfully launching and scaling SharkNinja brands from the US into Mexico, Brazil, and broader LATAM markets.
  • Optimize pricing, trade investment, and promotional strategy to maximize ROI and contribution margin.

Performance Optimization & Financial Rigor

  • Own demand forecasting, inventory planning, and trade spend management to ensure forecast accuracy, in-stock excellence, and working capital efficiency.
  • Drive performance across key marketplace levers including traffic, conversion rate, and average order value (AOV).
  • Manage margin to contribution targets, balancing topline growth with bottom-line profitability.
  • Establish disciplined operating cadences, KPIs, and performance dashboards to drive accountability across the region.

Cross-Functional eCommerce Pod Leadership

  • Build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional LATAM eCommerce "pod" inclusive of Sales, Marketing, Digital/Advertising, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Drive alignment between global brand strategy and localized marketplace execution.
  • Elevate organizational capability in Mexico and Brazil, building scalable processes and local market expertise.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, speed, and data-driven decision-making.

Executive Influence & Strategic Partnership

  • Serve as the executive face of SharkNinja to Amazon and Mercado Libre leadership across LATAM.
  • Influence senior internal stakeholders, including C-suite leaders, through clear financial storytelling, strategic recommendations, and performance transparency.
  • Translate marketplace insights into actionable regional and global growth strategies.
  • Navigate complex negotiations and trade-offs with confidence, credibility, and strong executive presence.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive eCommerce leadership with full P&L ownership.
  • Direct experience managing both Amazon and Mercado Libre marketplaces.
  • Experience operating in Mexico or Brazil; experience in both strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing both 1P (Vendor) and 3P marketplace models.
  • Demonstrated success launching and scaling US brands into LATAM markets strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of core marketplace business drivers, including:
    • Demand forecasting and inventory planning
    • Trade and marketing spend management
    • Margin and contribution profitability
    • Traffic, conversion, and AOV optimization
  • Experience leading cross-functional eCommerce pod structures.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and executive-level communication capability.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen; advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and marketplace analytics tools.
