Job description

VP, Performance Marketing

 ($160K Base + Bonus | Target Total Comp $200K+)

About Heartland Roadshow
Heartland Roadshow is a nationwide, growth-focused company that acquires valuable estate items directly from the public through a network of events held across the U.S. Often compared to Antiques Roadshow, our events provide a professional, secure environment where individuals can sell gold, silver, coins, watches, jewelry, and other collectibles.

Our business is built on a scalable, multi-market model driven by direct-response marketing, operational discipline, and a strong focus on measurable performance.

Our marketing engine has historically been driven by direct mail, and we are now expanding into TV, paid social, and additional acquisition channels in a meaningful way.

We are seeking a high-level, data-driven marketing operator to take ownership of our acquisition strategy and help scale the business to the next level.

About the Role

This is not a “manage agencies and report metrics” role.

This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for:

  • Scaling customer acquisition across multiple channels

  • Driving measurable ROI (CAC, MER, revenue growth)

  • Leading and developing a team of 6 marketing team members

  • Building a disciplined testing and optimization culture

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and scale all marketing channels (Direct Mail, TV, Paid Social, Radio)

  • Optimize and improve CAC, ROAS, and overall marketing efficiency

  • Expand TV advertising across new markets and creatives

  • Build and scale paid social (Meta) campaigns

  • Develop and execute structured A/B testing strategies

  • Analyze performance across multiple markets and allocate budget accordingly

  • Lead, manage, and improve a team of 6 marketing professionals

  • Oversee creative direction and messaging strategy

  • Build reporting systems and dashboards for performance tracking

What We’re Looking For
  • 8–15+ years in performance marketing, growth, or acquisition roles

  • Proven experience scaling marketing in multi-market environments

  • Deep expertise in at least 2 of the following:

    • Direct Mail

    • TV Advertising

    • Paid Social (Meta)

  • Strong analytical mindset (CAC, LTV, MER, ROAS)

  • Experience managing teams of 5+ people

  • Ability to be both strategic and hands-on

What We Are NOT Looking For
  • Brand-only marketers

  • Agency account managers without P&L ownership

  • Candidates without direct experience scaling acquisition channels

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
  • Performance-based bonus tied to revenue growth, CAC efficiency, and channel performance
  • Fully remote position
Why This Role is Unique
  • You will own and scale a multi-channel acquisition engine

  • You will have real autonomy and decision-making authority

  • Your performance will be clearly measurable and rewarded

  • You will play a key role in driving nationwide growth
