Job description


Project Managers work directly with clients, technicians, and other resources to effectively achieve project objectives. This requires ensuring that all aspects related to project planning, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting are successfully completed throughout the duration of the project.

Essential Job Duties

  • Take ownership of project execution, including planning, prioritization, schedule, scope, stakeholder communications, and project status updates - documenting issues and risks around timeline and deliverables - escalating to leadership as appropriate
  • Ensure documentation is kept up to date (process, functional, and technical)
  • Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, peers, and leaders
  • Act as the liaison between the project team, leadership, and other key stakeholders
  • Facilitate project meetings/conference calls, providing pre-meeting agenda and post-meeting notes.
  • Manage changes within the project to ensure timely execution of objectives
  • Develop and maintain project deliverables and schedules using project management tools
  • Ensuring projects remain profitable by effectively using both internal and external resources

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience as a Project Manager (or related experience) strongly preferred
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to multi-task, delegate, and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to evaluate risks and define approaches for managing project risks
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
  • Able to break down issues into manageable amounts to resolve problems and overcome hurdles
  • Able to multitask and keep on top of several resources and tasks at once
  • Understanding and practical application of various software applications, including the MS Office Suite and NetSuite
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills
