Job description

SUMMARY: Experienced in high volume, high quality preparation and production of hot and cold catered event foods. May involve cooking in public and interacting with clients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Prepare menu items from posted production lists
  2. Cook and present menu items to specification
  3. Adhere to food and work safety procedures and keep organized work area
  4. Lead small groups to execute event foods
  5. Some roles may require strict confidentiality
  6. Work club concession stands as needed
  7. Special projects and assignments as business dictates

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • May oversee small groups of cooks in preparation projects.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 2 years of upscale food production in high volume catering operation or restaurant
  • Culinary degree or certification preferred
  • Demonstrate ability in all basic hot and cold food production
  • Excellent attendance
  • Devoted learner

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
