Description:
Coordinators of District Mentors
Job Summary:
This position is for Novice Teacher Mentoring Program Coordinators for the 2026-2027 school year.
Hours vary and are expected to be completed after contractual hours, after school. Candidates must also provide monthly professional development along with the Coordinator of the Mentor Teachers
Qualifications:






  • Must Posesse instruction certification issed by NJDOE
  • Must be tenured in position
  • District experence in district mentoring
  • Strong organizational skills, knowledge of state mentoring rules and regulations and ability to provide assistance and professional development to the district mentors for novice teachers.
  • Ability to work well with others and knowledge of school and district priorities and evaluation process.
  • Knowledge of District Professional Development and Mentoring Plans.
  • Ability to meet with mentors after school to provide professional development for year 1 and year 2 mentors
