• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients and their families to assess their needs for family therapy, ensuring personalized treatment plans.
• Actively engage in clinical discussions, contributing family-centered perspectives to the development of service and treatment plans.
• Provide family-focused therapeutic services, including individual, group, and joint counseling while also assisting with milieu management as necessary.
• Create and facilitate educational support groups focusing on substance misuse, mental health challenges, and enhancing family relationships, fostering awareness and understanding in the community.
• Maintain timely and comprehensive clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies as needed, promoting optimal care for clients through coordinated efforts.
• Identify areas for program improvement and implement quality improvement methods to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and maintain all relevant certifications and licensing requirements.

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults who are grappling with substance use disorders and associated mental health issues. Your expertise and sensitivity will be crucial in addressing the unique needs of families in crisis, fostering resilience, and facilitating lasting change.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is a prerequisite.
• Must hold an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience is mandatory, preferably in a clinical setting that includes family therapy.
• A comprehensive understanding of the legal and ethical standards governing therapy practice is essential.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a collaborative healthcare team environment.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technologies is required.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse counseling, or trauma-informed care is highly recommended.

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and workload. Additionally, we recognize your commitment with a sign-on bonus.
