Title: Licensed Mental Health Therapist – Behavioral Health Intake

Location: Southgate, MI
Schedule:

  • Full-Time
  • Days
  • Monday–Thursday - 8:30 AM–7:00 PM, Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Pay: $29.47 – $39.88/hour (based on experience) + Benefits


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral health intake assessments
  • Complete clinical documentation within required timelines
  • Develop safety plans and initial treatment recommendations
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques
  • Coordinate referrals and connect clients with appropriate services
  • Assist with person-centered treatment planning
  • Participate in clinical supervision and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Provide crisis intervention and behavioral health support as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation


Required Qualifications

✔ Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
✔ Active Michigan Full Licensure (LMSW, LPC, or LLP)
✔ Minimum 1 year of post-master's mental health treatment experience
✔ Minimum 1 year working with children/adolescents and families
✔ Minimum 1 year working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
✔ Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills

Highly Preferred

✔ Crisis Intervention experience
✔ Behavioral Health Urgent Care experience
✔ Community Mental Health experience
