Job description

Join Signature Retail Services as a full-time Warehouse Forklift Associate and play a key role in keeping products moving through our warehouse safely, accurately, and efficiently.

In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring our client's lumber products are inspected at the warehouse facility before moving on to retail locations. You will work closely with the facility manager to inspect inbound and outbound shipments, make minor repairs to packaging, and report your findings daily through an online process. Pay Rate: $21- $23/ hour, depending on experience.
Shift Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8am- 5pm

Position Responsibilities

  • Safely unload and receive inbound shipments of lumber products and building materials using a sit-down forklift or manual methods.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all products meet quality standards, documenting findings and addressing any discrepancies before preparing items for outbound shipment to local stores.
  • Prepare and submit detailed daily reports summarizing activities, quality inspection results, and any relevant observations.
  • Safely palletize, stage, and manage inventory by performing up-stocking and down-stocking tasks utilizing a forklift or cherry picker.
  • Operate independently while maintaining effective communication with warehouse associates and management to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Perform minor repairs on product packaging to maintain presentation and quality standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years of age or older.
  • A Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and have a reliable personal vehicle.
  • 5+ years experience operating a forklift and order picker, or the willingness to obtain certification.
  • A Smartphone with internet access and the ability to send/receive texts and emails.
  • Posses basic tools and equipment necessary to perform job duties, including work gloves, a tape measure, box cutter, and standard hand tools.
  • This is a physically active role that involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing ladders, and remaining active throughout overnight shifts
  • Regular lifting, moving, and handling of products, fixtures, and materials up to 50+ lbs.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced remodel environments with overnight project schedules.
  • Ability to work effectively in both indoor and outdoor environments.
