Job description

At Colonial Court, we believe senior living should feel personal, purposeful, and deeply connected. We are locally owned and operated boutique community serving just 48 residents at full capacity, allowing our leaders to truly know residents, build strong teams, and focus on quality rather than volume.

We are seeking a Wellness Director who enjoys leading people, building systems, developing staff, and creating excellent resident outcomes. This Wellness Director will work alongside a qualified LPN as their Assistant Wellness Director.

Why Colonial Court? We know you have many places to use your talents. Here is what makes us unique.

  • $1,000 Annual Appreciation incentive.
  • Annual performance-based increases.
  • Dedicated Assistant Wellness Director (LPN) on staff Sunday - Thursday to support operations, resident care and on-call needs.
  • Small, boutique environment with only 48 residents at full capacity.
  • Locally owned with flexibility, faster decisions, and leadership support.
  • Opportunity to make a visible impact and build a strong wellness culture.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and oversee resident wellness and clinical operations.
  • Complete resident assessments and ensure care plans remain accurate and current.
  • Partner with caregivers, medication staff, families, and providers to deliver excellent care.
  • Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable to care standards.
  • Hire, onboard, train, and mentor clinical team members.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and quality outcomes.
  • Monitor resident changes and coordinate interventions proactively.
  • Build systems that help the team succeed while maintaining a warm, resident-centered culture.

What We're Looking For

  • Licensed Nurse
  • Experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or senior housing.
  • Leadership experience managing teams and developing staff.
  • Strong clinical judgement and organizational skills.
  • Someone who enjoys balancing connection with accountability.

The Right Fit

You believe:

  • Residents deserve excellent care and meaningful relationships.
  • Teams perform best when expectations are clear and support is available.
  • Leadership means coaching people to grow, not carry them.
  • You understand this role requires on-call and weekends as needed. This is a shared responsibility between this role and the Assistant Wellness Director.

If this sounds like you, and is something you are interested in, we encourage you to apply today.
