Overview

Position Type Full Time 0.9 Job Shift Night

Description

Provides age appropriate direct care to the patients across all age spans and health condition appropriate for Maternal Child. Responsible for assessment, medication administration, carrying out providers orders, evaluating their effect, documenting care provided and communicating with the care team. Provides care in adherence to all hospital policies and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Graduation from accredited School of Nursing
  • Current, unencumbered North Carolina or compact state RN License.
  • Current BLS certification
  • PALS and NRP certification within 90 days
  • NCI certification, EFM antepartum and Team STEPPS training within 90 days

Experience:

  • One year of clinical experience in area of clinical specialty is preferred. New graduates upon the completion of RN residency program is preferred.
