- May float to assist as a bedside nurse in NICU, PICU, or Pediatric units as needed.
- Experience in ground transportation is required.
- Charge nurse experience is preferred.
- Must hold certifications in BLS, NRP, and PALS.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a pediatric or neonatal critical care setting.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, specifically Epic.
- Proficiency in monitoring End-Tidal CO2.
- Knowledge of anti-seizure medication management.
- Experience with arterial line management and care of ventilated patients.
- Ability to perform central line blood draws and manage IV vasopressors.
- Familiarity with phlebotomy, urinary catheter insertion, and tracheostomy care.
- Skills in high-flow nasal cannula management and interpretation of arterial blood gases.
- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Children, and Adolescents.
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, physical therapy, phlebotomy, and social services.
This role is crucial for the ground transport of high-acuity patients and involves external transport responsibilities. You will be a part of a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional care during transport.
Additional Information:
- Must request all time off or specific scheduling requests up-front.
- Traveling nurses may be expected to float between nearby facilities.
