The bigger picture

Weโ€™re looking for a motivated team player who is member service focused to come on board as a temporary full-time Member Services Representative II (MSR II) at our Tisdale Branch for up to 18 months. As the first point of contact for members, you will provide everyday banking services and products to meet membersโ€™ immediate needs.ย 

As a full-time team member you will be scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday.

How you'll be spending your time

  • Proactively identifying and responding to membersโ€™ needs to improve their financial well-being and build rapport
  • Providing a variety of services related to the promotion and sales of cash and non-cash financial services, solutions and alternatives such as opening up memberships and deposit accounts, including terms, RRSPโ€™s and TFSAโ€™s
  • Promoting and offering credit union products and services and, when appropriate referring members to Financial Service Advisors to further develop relationships
  • Following internal policies, procedures and processes; all the while maintaining confidentiality
  • Identifying suspicious transactions or interactions and responding appropriately

The experience you bring

  • High School Diploma
  • A minimum of one year of financial industry experience
  • Experience in providing customer service
  • Experience in handling cash
  • Prior sales experience is considered an asset

Salary range

$47,146.84 - $58,934.10 annually

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement; union membership is required.
