We are actively searching for a Certified Flight Instructor who is not only a skilled pilot but also a dedicated educator. Here’s your chance to pass on your knowledge and enthusiasm while building the flight hours and experience crucial for a successful career in professional aviation.

Our fleet is a pilot’s dream, which includes the latest G1000 NXi-equipped Cessna 172 Skyhawks. We currently have 5 G1000 Cessna 172 Skyhawks in our fleet, as well as a “steam gauge” Cessna 172S and 172R. We also offer two well-equipped Piper Pilot 100i aircraft featuring the latest in Garmin Avionics. You won’t find a newer training fleet anywhere in the state of Indiana! Plus, we offer cutting-edge training tools, including a state-of-the-art Redbird LD Advanced Aviation Training Device, to ensure you and your students have the best resources at your disposal.

Responsibilities:

· Provide high quality flight, ground, and simulator instruction in accordance with the Sporty’s syllabi for Sport, Private, Instrument, Commercial, Flight Instructor, and Airline Transport Pilot certificates.

· Promptly report aircraft maintenance discrepancies to the Chief Flight Instructor and/or Director of Maintenance.

· Give facility tours to prospective customers and members of the community.

· Recruit new customers and reach out to past customers for the flight school.

· Maintain student and renter files with the appropriate documentation as required by Federal Law and company policy.

· Other duties as assigned by the Chief Flight Instructor and/or General Manager.

Qualifications:

Educations and/or Experience:

· Commercial Airplane Single-Engine Land

· Commercial Airplane Multiengine Land (Preferred)

· CFI

· CFII and MEI (Preferred)

· G1000 or other glass cockpit avionics experience (Preferred)

· Tailwheel, complex, and high-performance endorsements (Preferred)

License and Other Requirements:

· FAA 1st or 2nd class medical certificate

· REQUIRED-Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
