Job description

The Cardiac Device Management Technician (CDMT) is responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of cardiac rhythms and rhythm EMG analysis in person and from remote transmission; evaluation of online information, retrieval and triage of that information, preparing it for entry into the electronic health record, and physician evaluation.
Education/Experience/Licenses/Technical/Other:
  1. Education: Minimum High school or equivalent. Must have Cardiac Device management training.
  2. Experience: 1 year
  3. Certification/Licensure: BLS certification (NON-RN staff)/ACLS certification (RNs only) required CDM on-the-job training or completion of an approved CDMT program is required
  4. Software/Hardware:Medtronic, St Jude, Boston Scientific and Biotronic programmers
