An exciting opportunity for a Clinical Specialist to be an integral member of our highly successful Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) team to be based in Sydney. This is an excellent role for an individual with strong clinical experience in cardiac pacing devices. Your clinical guidance and technical expertise will prove to be valuable for driving business growth and delivering best possible outcomes to our customers.

Medtronic's CRM portfolio offers devices and therapies that treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms and heart failure. CRM innovations are now important more than ever. Together, we will transform the lives of people with cardiac arrhythmias and heart failure.

Reporting to the Service Innovation Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with sales colleagues to develop and execute account sales strategies for the business unit
  • Providing the best possible outcomes and service for Medtronic customers by supporting field teams with technical in-services and presentations to customers
  • Conducting on-site education and/or consulting
  • Assisting Territory Managers in providing after-hours on-call support
  • Support sales & marketing programs with specific complimentary activities as provided by the Marketing team
  • Participating in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness
  • Working closely with Clinical Lead, Clinical Management and Regional Sales team to provide customer case and sales support
  • Gather market intelligence on customer and competitor activity and communicate to Territory Managers and Divisional Staff.
  • Identifying and facilitating execution on growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support Team.
  • Monitor field inventory effectively and ensure appropriate levels relative to demand in locations.
  • Support clinical study activities in conjunction with Territory Manager and the Clinical Research team

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • High School Diploma with minimum of 6 years relevant experience, or Associate Diploma with minimum of 4 years relevant experience, or Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience either in a clinical setting with cardiac pacing devices or cardiac sales
  • A valid driver's licence required and ability to travel up to 25%
  • Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software
  • Customer focused: Understands and delivers excellent customer service
  • Solutions focused with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the business
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a professional presentation/presence
