What does a Medmark do?

A typical day for a Medmark Nurse involves visiting patients in their homes or community settings to provide assessments, manage medications, and deliver specialized care like wound treatment. You’ll coordinate with primary care physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, often using electronic documentation tools. The role frequently involves both independent work and collaborative team meetings, allowing you to develop strong clinical judgment while benefiting from shared expertise. To thrive as a Medmark Nurse, you need a strong clinical background with experience in wound care, diabetes management, and patient education, often supported by nursing licensure (RN or LPN) and specialized certifications.
