Job Summary

As a Solutions Engineer I on our IM-One team, you will report directly to the IM-One Manager and serve as a key technical resource for client deployments across the U.S. and Canada. In this role, you will specialize in our Identity & Access Management (IAM) suiteโ€”implementing solutions like Single Sign-On (SSO), Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), and "tap and go" access. You will empower client teams through effective technical onboarding, hands-on user training, and ongoing, high-quality support to drive long-term customer success.


Essential Functions:

  • Act at Sales Engineer for Imprivata Product within ?Forward Advantage Identity & Access Management
  • Customer Demonstrations/Presentations
  • Under supervisorโ€™s general direction, coordinate system implementation and training as assigned.
  • Prepare implementation and training schedules, provide schedules to clients in a timely manner, and ensure client site and personnel are prepared in advance for implementation and training process.
  • Provide on-site and remote system implementation and training in a professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide on-call user support as assigned.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure user concerns, systems problems; system improvement suggestions and/or product innovations are addressed with appropriate personnel.
  • Follow up with clients and team members as appropriate.
  • Provide assistance to supervisor in training new and existing staff, and ensuring critical information is communicated to current staff as appropriate.
  • Develop and /or edit technical documentation and user manuals as required, ensuring accuracy and professional appearance (Salesforce/E-Mail/Client Correspondence).
  • Provide support to other teams or team members as necessary to ensure productive and positive work environment.
  • Ensure that timesheets and expense reports are completed in accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure all activities support the Forward Advantage mission statement
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education & Experience:

  • 2+ years related experience and/or training, Undergraduate Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in user support and education, hardware and software installation, and system troubleshooting and documentation.

Key Technical and Behavioral Skills:

  • 2 โ€“ 3 yearsโ€™ experience with Omnissa/VMware, Citrix, Entra ID, Active Directory and network environments
  • Imprivata SME (Subject Matter Expert)
  • Ability to Create a Deploy a MSI Push Package (GPO, SCCM, CASE, PDQ Deploy)

VDI โ€“ Omnissa/VMware View

  1. Fundamental Knowledge of Omnissa/VMware vSphere, Horizon Suite (Virtual Desktops).? Able to Install/Configure/Manage (ICM)
  2. Ability to ICM Active Directory GPOs, Active Directory ADMs
  3. Ability to ICM ZERO/Thin Clients with Imprivata & Omnissa/VMware (Including, but not limited to Teradici, WYSE ThinOS, IGEL, HP)
  4. Understanding of Windows Based Printing in a Virtual Environment

Citrix โ€“ XenApp & XenDesktop

  1. Basic Knowledge of Citrix XenApp (Published Applications/Desktops) as well as Citrix XenDesktop
  2. Basic Knowledge of Web Interface/Storefront (PNA Sites)
  3. Basic Knowledge of Citrix PVS vs MCS
  4. Fundamental Knowledge of Citrix Online Plugin & Citrix Receiver
  5. Ability to ICM ZERO/Thin Clients with Imprivata & Citrix (Including, but not limited to WYSE ThinOS & Xenith, IGEL, HP ,nComputing)
  6. Understanding of Windows Based Printing in a Virtual Environment
