Job description

Job Summary -

Performs 3D and 4D ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for the diagnosis of pregnancy. Is responsible for daily operations of ultrasound equipment, report of equipment failure, and quality assurance. Maintains a high standard of medical ethics and is self-motivated to increase knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve. ARDMS or ARRT Sonography certification is required.

Regulatory Requirements

  • Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or ARRT Sonography is required.
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology and medical terminology.

Language Skills

  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Skills

  • Basic computer skills is required.
  • Experience with EMR system preferably Meditech is required.
